Saturday, Dec. 14

Liverpool v Watford (1230)

-Liverpool have beaten Watford in six of their last seven Premier League games (D1), scoring 25 goals and conceding four in those seven matches.

-Leaders Liverpool have scored 40 goals this season, finding the net in all 16 games, while bottom club Watford (9) have not scored in a league-high nine matches.

-Liverpool have won their last 15 home games in the league, their second-longest winning streak at Anfield since they won 21 games between January and December 1972.

Burnley v Newcastle United

-Newcastle, who are 11th, are looking to win three straight Premier League matches for the first time since November 2018.

-Burnley (326) and Newcastle (305) have played fewer passes per match than any other league side this season.

-Burnley have lost their last three matches, conceding 11 goals and scoring once in the process.

Chelsea v Bournemouth

-Bournemouth have two league wins over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge since earning promotion in 2015, with only Liverpool managing more wins in that period (3).

-Chelsea have lost three of their last four games, as many as they had in their previous 20 in the competition.

-Bournemouth have dropped to 15th after losing their last five matches.

Leicester City v Norwich City

-Second-placed Leicester have won their last eight league games by an aggregate score of 25-3 while Norwich are looking for their first win in four.

-Leicester striker Jamie Vardy has found the net in each of his last eight league games and needs to score in his next three games to equal his own record set four years ago during their title-winning season.

-Norwich’s Todd Cantwell and Teemu Pukki have combined for five goals this season, more than any other pair in the league.

Sheffield United v Aston Villa

-Villa have never lost to Sheffield United in six previous Premier League meetings (W5 D1).

-The Blades are unbeaten in eight away games but have lost four times at Bramall Lane. Only Norwich, Southampton and West Ham (five each) have lost more times at home this season.

-Victory will give the Blades back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time since December 2006.

Southampton v West Ham United (1730)

-Southampton have beaten West Ham only once in their last five matches, losing four times.

-West Ham have not beaten any other team more than Southampton (16) in the Premier League.

-Danny Ings has scored in nine league games this season of which the Saints have won only two.

Sunday, Dec. 15

Manchester United v Everton (1400)

-Everton have won away at Old Trafford only twice in the Premier League (Aug. 1992 and Dec. 2013).

-Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford has already equalled his best-ever tally of 10 league goals in a season in just 16 games.

-Everton have lost 6 of their last 7 away matches, claiming their only away win this season at Southampton last month.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Tottenham Hotspur (1400)

-Spurs midfielder Dele Alli has four goals and three assists in five games across all competitions since Jose Mourinho took charge last month.

-Wolves are unbeaten in their last 11 league games (W5 D6).

-Spurs have faced 58 shots on target in away games this season — more than any other team in the league.

Arsenal v Manchester City (1630)

-Arsenal have lost their last four league matches against Man City. They have never lost five in a row against any opponent in the Premier League.

-Man City have lost four of 16 league games this season — as many as they did en route to the league title last season.

-Arsenal have kept only one clean sheet at home in eight league games this season (a 1-0 win over Bournemouth in October).

Monday, Dec. 16

Crystal Palace v Brighton & Hove Albion (1945)

-Palace have kept a clean sheet in their last three league matches (W2 D1).

-After beating Arsenal 2-1 last weekend, Brighton are looking to win back-to-back games in London for the first time.

-Palace’s Selhurst Park has seen the least number of goals scored this season (13 goals in eight matches).
