THE Vodafone Fiji football men’s team held Vanuatu to a nil-all draw in an international friendly match in Port Villa last night.

It wasn’t an easy battle for the Christophe Gamel side which had Samuela Drudru sent off in the 25th minute of play.

Ba’s Kishan Sami also received the marching orders for second bookable offense early in the second spell.

According to Fiji FA, the 9-men Bula Boys put up a courageous performance against the hosts in front of a jam packed Vanuatu crowd.

Fiji had earlier had a 1-all draw against Tahiti.
