As part of their corporate duties, the Suva Bowling Club hosted the launch of the Gynaecology Month last Saturday.

Speaking during the launch of the campaign the club’s president, Samuela Tuikiligana said they were proud to assist in marking the important event.

Tuikiligana said the club had always supported causes for the Fiji Cancer Society. “Apart from our passion for bowling, we take pride in looking after and caring for those living with cancer, especially our women,” Tuikiligana said.

“We believe that their care is not only the duty of medical specialists, but all Fijians contributing in every way we can.

“For this purpose we are proud to say that we have played an active part in supporting fundraisings for the support and care of those living with cancer including survivors.”

The Gynaecology Month is known as the Eve’s Campaign in Fiji and is used to advocate on gynaecological malignancies such as cervical and ovarian cancer.
