BODYGUARD Samisoni Tagivetaua told the Parliamentary Privileges Committee that he was with Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama when he allegedly manhandled Opposition MP Pio Tikoduadua outside Parliament on August 9.

According to the verbatim report dated September 4, he was summoned to appear before the committee as the fifth witness to give evidence on matters of privilege against the two MPs.

Mr Tagivetaua said he worked for Mr Bainimarama as his bodyguard for the past 18 years.
