After a three-year hiatus, Fiji football’s biggest night is slated to return with the Extra Supermarket Fiji FA Awards Night 2024.
Extra Supermarket, which has always been a sponsor of Fiji FA’s tournaments this year, is coming on board for the event and adds another dimension of relations to their existing partnership.
Mohammed Yusuf, Fiji FA’s chief executive officer, said the event aimed to unite the nation’s vibrant community of footballers and administrators in shining a light on the work put in by the various teams and individuals in the sport.
“The awards night is to bring the football fraternity together after a three-year hiatus to acknowledge the achievements and dedication of the clubs,” Yusuf said.
While the event seeks to honour the efforts of everyone involved in Fiji’s football landscape, Yusuf has urged the association’s 20 affiliated clubs to ensure their members are duly acknowledged for their dedication and hard work.
This year, the revival of the ceremony also means a new focus will be set on new categories introduced as a way of honouring the immense contributions within the football community here.
The awards night will be held on December 1, at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa in Wailoaloa, Nadi.
