Ba currently leads the Vodafone Vanua Cup Challenge against Macuata by 7-6 at half-time.

Rugby officials have had to close the gates as rugby fans flocked into the park to cheer for their respective teams.

About 5000 fans gathered at the five pavilions, sat on footpaths and crowded the embankment to watch the game.

Ba scored a converted try while Macuata obtained points from two penalty kicks.
