A family in Benai, Ba, is appealing for urgent assistance after their home was destroyed by fire yesterday.
Rorieean Devi shared on social media that she and her mother lost their entire home and all their belongings in the blaze, describing the loss as heartbreaking.
“The house was our safe haven,” she wrote, explaining that the home consisted of two bedrooms, a sitting room, kitchen and laundry room.
Ms Devi also revealed that she is a person with a disability, and the fire has left them in an extremely vulnerable position, without a safe place to stay or access to basic necessities.
She is appealing to the public for any form of assistance, prayers or the sharing of her message, saying all support would be a true blessing during this difficult time.

Ms Devi thanked members of the public for their kindness and support as her family begins the difficult process of rebuilding their lives.
