All flood warnings cancelled or downgraded, except for Ba river

A flood warning remains in force for flood prone areas adjacent to and downstream of Ba FSC river, states Fiji Meteorological Service.

A flood warning previously in force for Nasivi river (Tavua) and Nakauvadra river (Rakiraki) is now downgraded to flood alert.

A flash flood alert previously in force for all low lying, flash flood prone areas and small streams for rest of Fiji is now cancelled.

“Rainfall recorded for the last 24 hours ranges from 30mm to 154mm in the Western division (8am Sunday to 8am Monday),” states Fiji Met.

Water level for Ba FSC at 5.30am was 3.75m which is above warning level and decreasing.

Water level for Nakauvadra (Rakiraki town river) at 8.00am was 1.97m above alert level and decreasing.
