THE Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union and the Fiji Rugby Union have come into an agreement in relation to the Deans competition scheduled to kick start next week.
The FSSRU and the FRU had a meeting at the rugby house this afternoon concerning the Fiji Secondary School rugby event and its operation that was agreed by the two parties at the meeting.
The FRU had earlier announced in February that it would be monitoring the Fiji Secondary Schools and Primary Schools rugby competitions.
However, an agreement has been made that the FRU will be governing the strategic plans for the Deans championship, whereas the FSSRU will control the operations of the competition.
The FSSRU has assured The Fiji Times that the Deans competition will begin next Saturday in various zones, and they hope to bring out the excitement of the competition to the public once again, and a grand finale to look forward to.
A press conference is scheduled to be held tomorrow.
