Warriors centre Adam Pompey is set to sign a new contract, having impressed the club’s coach Nathan Brown this season.

The 22-year-old, who came up through the Sydney Roosters system, had a breakthrough season with the club last year and has continued to kick on in 2021.

Pompey’s current contract expires at the end of the season, but Stuff understands he has agreed terms to remain at the club and should put pen to paper soon.

The retention of Pompey comes soon after Rocco Berry signed a new deal to take him through to the end of 2024 and with Euan Aitken on the books until the end of 2023, it gives Brown plenty of flexibility.

Peta Hiku was only offered a one-year-deal when his previous contract ended after the 2020 season.
