A call has been made for the establishment of a building project fund to help Lomaiviti families invest in future housing needs across the province.
At the Lomaiviti Provincial Council meeting in Suva recently, a representative urged the council to prioritise home-building investments that would directly benefit the people of Lomaiviti.
“We need to think about our future, especially with the housing situation in our province,” the representative said.
“A building project fund should be created and managed by the Lomaiviti Investment Committee chair, Isoa Kaloumaira, to help our people build homes when they need one.”
