Top business awards set for November

THE Prime Minister’s International Business Awards which traditionally recognises outstanding achievements and innovations in Fiji’s business community, will take place in November.

The theme, “Navigating Global Winds – Resilience, Innovation and Sustainable Growth” will highlight how Fijian businesses have not only adapted to changing global landscapes but are also leading in areas such as climate innovation, digital transformation and inclusive growth.

Event organiser Investment Fiji has indicated that applications were still open but urged all businesses to apply before deadline.

“We urge all businesses to seize this opportunity to be recognised at the highest national level,” Investment Fiji chief executive officer Kamal Chetty said.

“The award covers a range of categories from Forestry to Fisheries, E-Commerce to Innovation, so there is something for everyone.”

There are 15 awards to be won this year and according to Mr Chetty, it is an opportunity to elevate businesses and individuals driving Fiji forward, both locally and internationally.
