An alleged act of sacrilege has been reported at the Tulsi Tirath Mandir located on Nawanawa Road, Nadera.
In a social media post, the temple committee states the break-in occurred around 2:00am this morning.
A white getaway vehicle is believed to have been used.
“Valuable items were stolen, including two newly purchased Soundking speakers with wires and accessories, and damage was done to temple property,” said the committee.
“The matter is with Police and under investigation.
“If you saw anything suspicious or have any information, please contact us or Valelevu Police Station.”
“Be alert for anyone trying to sell similar speakers.”
