Tikoitoga ‘was an exemplary son of Fiji’

“Moce Mada Mo.” These were the final words from Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka when he ended his eulogy at the funeral service for the late Fiji High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea, Brigadier-General (Ret’d) Mosese Tikoitoga.

Mr Rabuka said the late Mr Tikoitoga would be remembered as a champion of welfare for the staff at the Royal Fiji Military Forces during his tenure, and he was an exemplary son of Fiji.

Also attending the farewell church service at Pacific Harbour this morning were President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, former President and Speaker of Parliament Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, and Major General Jone Kalouniwai, the Commander RFMF.

Mr Tikoitoga was laid to rest at the Pacific Harbour Cemetery and the memorial service was held at the Makosoi Methodist Church in Pacific Harbour.
