On this day in 1986, two stories were published on the front page of The Fiji Times.
The main article titled Brother and sister drown – It was a black day as Mr & Mrs Hari Narayan of Mavota Place, Laucala Beach Estate as they mourned the death of their two children in the Samabula River.
The second was about a strong wind warning which was in force for Fiji as Cyclone Keli moved South-east South of Kadavu.
