Origin of the iTaukei

Origin of the iTaukei

So the straight-out-of-Africa theory for the origin of the iTaukei has come up for mention again (Sunday). By now there must be enough DNA data from modern iTaukei and, in particular, from bones of early immigrants whose remains have been found, to settle the question.

Has any such DNA sample been found that has not even a small percentage of Neandertal DNA?

It is only Africans whose DNA has no Neandertal content.

All the rest of us have DNA which has a certain percentage of Neandertal DNA, and some of us also have some Denisovan DNA, from the wanderings and interbreeding of our ancestors as they roamed through Europe and Asia, and into Indonesia and Australia and the Americas.
