The FIJI Water Flying Fijians beat the Wallabies 22-15 to advance in the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
The win, the first in 60 years had head coach Simon Raiwalui beaming.
“I’m very proud of the boys, it was a great Australian side, we’re Pacific neighbours. It’s a combination of the work we’ve done since beginning of the campaign, two hard games coming up,” he said.
“This win is incredible,” said player of the match Josua Tuisova.
Captain Waisea Nayacalevu thanked God and said he was proud of the boys.
“Today we made history,” he said.
“I told the boys today is our final, to day we decide whether we move up.”
