2019 Pacific Games: Fijian archers stand good chance for gold

FIJI archers Robert Elder, Frederick Leota and Lisa Leota have advanced into the finals for the events left to be played for the sport archery.

Ace shooter and Fiji’s first gold medalist at the games, Elder will be shooting in the final for the individual men’s recurve, Frederick in the individual men’s compound, and Lisa in the individual women’s compound.

The fourth medal at stake will be shot by Frederick and Lisa in the mixed team compound.

Team coach Francis Dominiko said he was confident that the trio had a very strong chance to win gold medals for Fiji tomorrow.
