2018 General Election: Yasawa pre-poll nears end

PRE-POLLING in the Yasawa Group is coming to an end.

Tomorrow is the final day voters will be given the opportunity to elect the leaders that they want into power.

Two teams from the Fiji Elections Office were assigned to the entire Yasawa chain of islands this week, with voters from Naisisili, Matacawalevu and Soso villages casting their votes today.

Voting will end at Vuaki tomorrow, but so far more than 300 failed to show up at their registered polling stations..
