PRE-poll at Navakuru Village this morning progressed well, says village headman Ratu Veri Wawatabua.

The elderly and the disabled, he said were also served with ballot papers inside their homes.

“Two weeks before this election, I have informed the voters in this area and reminded them about this important day of pre-poll so they can organise themselves to be available,” Ratu Veri said.

“This event happens every four years and it’s important that voters don’t miss out so the turnout was good in this village.

“About 100 voters were registered here and we all participated.”
