Update: 4.57pm INTERIM Labour Minister Bernadette Rounds-Ganilau says tourism industry stakeholders are well aware of her trip to Dubai this week.
Ms Ganilau was responding to comments by Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association President Dixon Seeto, who said he was not aware of the travel.
The interim minister said the trip was an opportunity to look for new destinations for Fiji tourism and she was taking the opportunity to build new bridges.
She confirmed that interim Commerce Minister Taito Waradi and Fiji Trade and Investment Bureau officials left today on the same sponsored trip.
